Tranexamic Acid, a lysine analog, hemostatic plasminogen activation inhibitor with anti-fibrinolytic and anti-hemophilic properties.
Tranexamic Acid acts by exerting antifibrinolytic effect by forming a reversible complex with
plasminogen and displaces plasminogen from the fibrin surface and blocks it’s action on fibrin.
Ethamsylate exerts hemostatic action by acting on 1 step of haemostasis and restores capillary
resistance and capillary wall stability & also reduces capillary bleeding and corrects abnormal platelet
tunction.
